Description
We are seeking dedicated and professional Law Enforcement Officers to join our team. This position requires individuals who are highly dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining safety and order in various environments. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and protection of clients, customers, and property.
Pay Rate: $31.00 per hour
Locations: Queens and Bronx, NY
Shift Details:
Multiple shifts are available. Shift schedules will be discussed during the interview based on your availability and the needs of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure safety during morning entry, lunch periods, and dismissal in coordination with school administration.
- Assist sick or injured students, visitors, and staff, calling for medical, police, or fire assistance when directed.
- Respond promptly to altercations and work to de-escalate situations involving students or visitors.
- Monitor radio communications and appropriately request assistance from school personnel when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to school and state COVID-19 regulations and protocols for staff and visitors.
- Perform other safety-related tasks as assigned by the school or management team.
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications
- Active or retired NY Law Enforcement Officer. (Active sworn officers of the courts that are fully licensed to carry a concealed weapon are qualified).
- Valid NY Security License (Required)
- Previous security and/or safety-related role within an educational institution preferred but not required
