Description
AX9 Security, Inc. is seeking Armed Security Officers for a retail store in Trenton, NJ. This position requires professionalism, vigilance, and strong report-writing skills to ensure a safe shopping environment.
Position Details:
- Pay Rate: $22.75 per hour
- Schedule:
- Monday
- Friday
- Saturday
- Sunday
- Approximately 20 hours per week (must be flexible)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine patrols inside and outside the retail store to deter theft and unauthorized activity.
- Monitor and respond to any suspicious behavior, security breaches, or disturbances.
- Write detailed and accurate incident reports as required.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.
- Work closely with store management and law enforcement if necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all security protocols and state firearm regulations.
Qualifications
- MUST have an active armed security license (valid in NJ).
- MUST have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- MUST be able to write clear and concise reports.
- MUST be able to perform security patrols efficiently.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Previous experience in retail security or armed security is preferred.
