NJ Unarmed Guard (Flexible Schedule)

AX9 Security Inc. is seeking a backup security officer to provide coverage at a school located in Park Ridge, NJ. The selected candidate must be flexible and available to work on an as-needed basis when coverage is required.

Position Details:

• Location: Park Ridge, NJ (School Site)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (School Days Only)
• Shift Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Pay Rate: $19.25 per hour
• Flexible Availability Required – This is a backup position, meaning the candidate must be ready to step in as needed.
• Reliable Transportation is a Must – Due to the nature of the role, the candidate must be able to travel to the site promptly when called.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid and Up-to-Date Guard Card – A current and active security license is required to be considered for this position.
• Prior Experience in School Security is Preferred – Candidates with experience handling security in a school environment will be prioritized.
• Professional Demeanor and Strong Communication Skills – The role requires interaction with school staff, students, and visitors, requiring professionalism at all times.
• Ability to Respond to Emergencies and Follow School Security Protocols – Must be familiar with standard security procedures, including lockdowns, fire drills, and emergency evacuations.
• Dependable and Punctual – Reliability is critical, as the candidate will be responsible for ensuring security coverage when needed.
