AX9 Security, Inc. is hiring a Retail Officer for a part-time position at a retail store located in Kings Plaza, Brooklyn, NY. This role is perfect for individuals seeking weekend work with a focus on maintaining a safe and welcoming retail environment.

 

Position Details:

• Location: Kings Plaza, Brooklyn, NY
• Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only
• Shift Times: Flexible; specific hours to be discussed during the interview

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide a visible security presence to deter theft and unauthorized activities
• Monitor entry and exit points to ensure a safe shopping environment
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents or emergencies
• Conduct routine patrols of the store to ensure safety and compliance with store policies
• Assist customers with directions, store information, and general inquiries as needed
• Document daily activities, incident reports, and other required logs
• Collaborate with store management and security teams to address safety concerns

 

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Guard Card
• Prior experience in retail security or loss prevention is preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle fast-paced environments
• Availability for all scheduled shifts (Friday-Sunday)

• Must possess a valid Guard Card 

• Must have reliable transportation 

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills 

• Ability to multitask effectively 

• Must be able to write clear and accurate reports 

• Able to operate and maintain site-specific security programs 

• Punctuality and reliability are essential 

• Previous security experience preferred 

 

This position may require working indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures. It involves standing for prolonged periods, walking, bending, and lifting. Some positions may also require sitting in front of a computer or monitor for extended periods.
