Job Summary
The Windows 11 Refresh Project is seeking dedicated individuals to assist in the deployment and configuration of Windows 11 across various systems. This role involves working closely with IT teams to ensure a smooth transition for users while maintaining system integrity and security. Ideal candidates will possess strong technical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Duties
- Assist in the installation and configuration of Windows 11 on desktop and laptop computers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to the Windows 11 environment.
- Collaborate with network administration teams to ensure proper connectivity and functionality, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN configurations.
- Utilize SCCM for software distribution and updates as part of the refresh process.
- Maintain accurate documentation of processes, configurations, and user feedback throughout the project.
- Communicate effectively with team members and end-users to provide support during the transition period.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding Active Directory management and user access controls.
Experience
- Proficiency in Mac OS is a plus, along with a solid understanding of computer hardware components.
- Familiarity with TCP, TCP/IP protocols, DNS configurations, and network administration practices.
- Experience working with Active Directory for user management is preferred.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within the team and with end-users.
- Previous experience in IT support or similar roles will be beneficial for success in this position.
