Job Description

Schedule 12 : 30pm-8 : 30pm (Monday- Friday)

Must Speak English and Portuguese

Support For Broadcast

For occasional calls extensions with an addition of :

Setup, troubleshooting and operational testing on internal and external ENG systems at client office (cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, associated cabling, among others);
Configuration, troubleshooting, and operational testing on client editing computers (AVID software) and their associated accessories associated;
Troubleshooting configuration issues and operational testing in ENG systems of weblinks (LIVEU, TVU, and other providers) and selected file transfer applications chosen;
Local technical interaction and support to the journalism team, with assistance from the remote technical team Brazilian;
Support the Brazilian technical team in interactions and eventual referral of defective equipment from the NY site authorized to resellers and suppliers in the USA. The local team should interact regularly with the Operations teams
The local team should regularly interact with Client's Operations and Technical Support teams in Oversea's for reports on ongoing troubleshooting, system status of equipment, and technical issues at the NY site. Therefore, basic Portuguese knowledge is desirable for professionals who will provide the support.

Support For EndUser

Customer Service User : perform on-site technical support, via remote access tool or phone to address requests and resolve issues.

Record and Track Tickets : document occurrences in ticket management systems and monitor progress until resolution.

Troubleshooting Technical : identify and analyze failures in systems, software, hardware, and networks to propose effective solutions.

User Guidance and Training : provide clear guidance and, when necessary, empower users on the use of systems and tools.

Preventive and Corrective Maintenance : perform regular checks on equipment and systems to prevent failures and correct existing problems.

Installation and Configuration of Equipment : setting up computers, printers, software, and other IT devices to ensure full functionality.

Access and Security Management : configure user permissions and access to systems and networks, ensuring compliance with security policies.

Scaling Complex Problems : escalate more critical or complex incidents to higher-level support teams or tiers.

Preparation of Reports and Indicators : record service and performance data, generating reports that assist in analysis and continuous improvement.

Technical Documentation Update : keep manuals, guides, and knowledge base up to date to facilitate future problem resolution.

Collaboration with Other Areas of IT : working together with infrastructure, development or security teams to solve integrated problems.
