We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Associate Sales Specialist to join our dynamic Refinish sales team. In this entry-level role, you will drive sales growth by building relationships with customers, identifying their needs, and providing tailored solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in sales and develop valuable skills in a supportive environment.

This is a remote-based role in the state of Ohio, ideally located in the greater Columbus area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quickly obtains knowledge of the collision repair business, well as distribution fundamentals.
  • Develops a deep understanding of Axalta's products to effectively educate and persuade customers.
  • Attends sales meetings and training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Conducts market research to uncover value drivers and analyzes market trends to identify opportunities.
  • Identifies and develops a robust pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Builds a professional network within the Refinish industry.
  • Actively participates in the preparation and execution of sales plans, events and campaigns.
  • Communicates and effectively presents Axalta solutions to key decision makers at prospective customers.
  • Effectively collaborates with internal and external resources to deliver results.
  • Maintains accurate account information by keeping detailed records of sales activities, customer engagements, and follow-up actions in SalesForce (SFDC).
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to team goals.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, required.
  • Basic understanding of consultive sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Must have strong work ethic and self-discipline along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Valid driver’s license required.
