What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resin & Dispersion Supervisor position at Axalta Coating Systems?
Operational Excellence :
- Manage and lead a group of over 15 production operators across both Resin and Dispersion departments
- Ensure AOE Tier 1 meetings are ran daily per guidelines and expectations. Follow up on 3C items and escalate up to Tier 2 meetings as needed / directed
- Follow production schedule while communicating any deviations and or issues attaining it
- Communicate any safety and / or quality incidents to site leadership. Perform root cause analysis on incidents and put actions in place to prevent future occurrences
- Follow up and communicate with production employees in both departments on a regular basis to understand issues, provide guidance, and provide accountability for deviations to procedure and expectations
- Complete corrective action with employees as needed when deviations to policy, procedure, or expectation occur
- Complete shift attendance and payroll in accordance with Axalta policy
- Participate in and complete any projects or activities directed by site leadership
People & Culture Champion :
Has the authority to stop any process or product delivery in case of non-conformance (safety / regulatory issue, customer requirements, etc)
Qualifications
2 years of supervisory experience within an industrial manufacturing environment; in lieu of degree, 5 years supervisory experience is required.
