Position Summary
Axcelus Financial is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Associate to join our growing team in Philadelphia! This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for marketing and a strong understanding of the financial industry to contribute to our success.
As a Marketing Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence and supporting our sales initiatives. You will work closely with the Director of Marketing & Strategic Initiatives to execute a variety of marketing activities, with a focus on digital engagement, event coordination, and sales support.

Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Develop and implement strategies to grow our social media presence across various platforms, creating engaging content and monitoring performance.
- Event Planning & Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of company events, including logistics, vendor management, and on-site support (some travel may be required).
- Sales Support & Sponsorships: Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate sponsorships, manage exhibit booth logistics (including shipping and setup), and provide marketing materials.
- Content Creation & Management: Assist in the development and updating of marketing materials, including PowerPoint presentations, brochures, newsletters, and thought leadership pieces.
- Digital Marketing: Help schedule and promote webinars, and assist with other digital marketing initiatives.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize Adobe InDesign and PowerPoint to create and edit marketing materials.
- Logistical Support: Manage the shipping and handling of marketing materials and exhibit booth equipment, including the ability to lift and move boxes.
- General Marketing Support: Provide administrative and project-based support to the marketing team as needed.
The Ideal Candidate will possess the following:
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of investments and financial concepts.
- Proven experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with event planning and coordination.
- Ability to lift and move boxes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
This is a hybrid position, requiring 2-3 days per week in our Philadelphia office.
