Axcess is a home care provider that services adults with special needs and disabilities across the state of South Carolina. We are contracted with Community Long Term Care and the Department of Disabilities and Special Needs to provide care to adults who qualify for aide services.
What we do
Our goal is to provide compassionate care to adults in need. Each adult is unique in the activities they need assistance with but may include:
~bathing~dressing~grooming~toileting~transferring~meal prep~feeding~light housekeeping~laundry~accompanying to medical appointments or errands
What we are looking for
We have a caregiver position available in the downtown Charleston area for a 66-year-old male client who is very pleasant. The schedule is Monday and Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The role involves assisting with maintaining a clean and organized apartment, including help with dishes and laundry. Qualifications
To be qualified as a Personal Care Aide you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Pass a background (SLED) check
- Pass a drug test
- Be physically able to provide care to an adult with special needs
- Have a valid drivers license and insured transportation
Axcess strives to maintain a positive work environment with telephone assistance from 8am until midnight 7 days a week for any issues that should arise.
