Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead a crew of millwrights, pipefitters, welders, and laborers through a series of tasks to complete an industrial project
• Manage project details and report workforce time and attendance
• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Install, align, dismantle, rig and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks, and lifts to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up, and repair of machinery
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
• Construct foundations for machinery
• Assemble machinery and equipment before installation using hand and power tools and welding
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
• OSHA certified with the skills to assess, implement and train others in safety guidelines as required by OSHA, Axcess Industries and the client

Requirements

• Experience supervising members of a project team as well as managing all on-site project activities, scheduling and reporting
• Outstanding leadership and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time, Hourly

Compensation: $30 - $50 hourly wage (per diem, and hotel supplied if overnight travel is required)
