Construction Site Manager

Works with the Project Manager, and the Project Engineer to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction project from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
Oversees the client's construction site, general contractors to ensure a high level of quality and safety.
- Develop daily Hazardous Work Permits (HWP's)
- Hold a Daily Safety Briefing, Coordinate site activities with Prime Contractor's Site Superintendent.
- Review contractors daily Job Safety Analysis's (JHA's)
- Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices
- Ensure quality workmanship and quality inspections are conducted. Retain and maintain a file of test and inspection reports
- Identify, mitigate, and track construction issues
dhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements
Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process, ensuring that the work environment is acceptable and that tools and equipment are in good working conditionMaintain and update SOW and construction documents, and meet contract obligations by developing relationships with reliable contractors and vendorsAcquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequaciesPlan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptionsConduct Pre-Start up inspections and maintain Pre-Start-up ChecklistsReports the status of projects to ManagementDesired Skills and Qualification :
Working knowledge of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Construction, including utilitiesKnowledge of construction methods and technologies and an ability to interpret technical drawings and contractsKnowledge of building-code requirements and scheduling methods5 years of industrial construction experience preferred. Oil and Gas experience is preferredAbility to manage with an eye for qualityGood oral and written communication skillsEducation, Experience, Requirements :
Knowledge of Construction Safety Practices and OSHA regulations (30 Hour OSHA Training is a plus)
Qualifications :
