Fire Technician

13 Month Contract
Job Description :
- State of Ohio License required. NICET is a plus.
- Geographical footprint is up to 2 hours from home office.
- Driving to site locations in personal vehicle.
- Will be driving 3-4 site locations a day (2 hours per call).
- Commercial experience preferred.
- 8 : 00AM to 4 : 30PM typically. Sometimes overtime will be required. Depends on the demands of the customer.
- Emergency on-call for 2 days a week. This will be an 8–10-week rotation.
- Electronics background or electrical engineering education.
- Certified tech with Client or SimplexGrinnell programs is a plus.
- Low voltage certifications are a plus.
- Candidate will need some experience with fire tech. Nobody new to the industry. At least 18 months of experience.
- Basic knowledge with low voltage tools.
- Service experience and troubleshooting experience required.
- Wire runs / pulls are minimal. Most of the job requires troubleshooting.
- Modification programming will be part of the job.
- Attendance is very important. (#1 priority)
