What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Administrator position at Axelon Services Corporation?
Pay range : $107 - $117 / hr
Shift timings : Night Shift – week days 11P – 7 : 15A; weekends 7P-7A; flexibility with number of shifts in a week
Duties :
Leads nursing practice using the tenets of the Professional Practice Model of Relationship Centered Care and the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing for the promotion of the patient experience.
1.Demonstrates proficiency in all aspects of Purposeful Hourly Rounding (PHR) and role models expected behaviors.
2.Ensures the integration of PHR into clinical activities to enhance Relationship Centered Care.
3.Validates staff members round hourly on all patients by direct observation and patient feedback.
4.Assesses staff competency in PHR and provides consistent meaningful feedback with more focused feedback as needed.
5.Oversees that rounding occurs on all patients on shift.
6.Communicates quantitative and qualitative information regarding the patient experience and staff engagement to the staff and the interdisciplinary health care team that leads to the development and implementation of an action plan.
7.Collaborates with the physician dyad and escalates concerns as appropriate.
8.Follows up on all patient concerns in a timely manner and provides service recovery as needed.
9.Demonstrates oaring, respect, compassion, empathy and active listening through dialogue, body language and actions.
Skills :
Must have relevant clinical experience in area of nursing practice assigned.
Evidence of ability to maintain and promote interpersonal relationships, communicate appropriately to others, and work effectively and efficiently to solve problems.

Ability to read, write, understand and speak English in a clear and concise manner
Visual, physical, auditory and cognitive ability to assess patient status
Physical and menial health necessary to care for acutely ill patients with a broad variety of diagnoses and behaviors on a daily basis
Ability to walk. stand. lift. stoop. push and respond quickly in a variety of situations ana for an extended period of time
Manual dexterity to perform a variety of clinical procedures relevant to practice area (i.e. venipuncture, urinary catheterization, cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
9, Ability to use data entry, retrieval systems and the electronic medical record documentation system in a proficient manner
Education :
Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing required : Masters in nursing or health care related field preferred.
Experience Requirement
3-5 years minimum clinical nursing experience with some Charge Nurse / supervisory experience preferred. Must have relevant clinical competence in area of nursing practice assigned
