Job Summary : Paint Shop Worker
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates Blast Chamber, Paint Booth and Drying Oven. Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
Fully analyzes all required blueprints, drawings, work orders and sketches to apply desired finish to product or part. Can detect errors and correct through proper departmental channels.
Positions work place inside of Blast Chamber, Paint Booth and Drying Oven.
Observes machine operation to detect work place defects or machine malfunction.
Operates any equipment needed to perform job,
Performs related duties as assigned by supervision.

The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
Employee must wear a respirator while working in the Paint Booth and Blast Chamber.
Employee must wear hearing protection will be required in the Blast Chamber.
Education / Experience / Licenses etc. : EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE : High School diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY : Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
