Job Description:
The primary focus of the QC Associate position is to perform GMP testing to support product release and in-process testing within the QC Microbiology Department. This role will also provide technical support and troubleshooting for analytical or microbiological tests.
Duties/responsibilities include:
- Experience with microbiology techniques such as environmental monitoring, microbial identification, water/gas sampling, and gram-staining.
- Demonstrated experience with basic laboratory techniques and laboratory safety practices.
- Identify and facilitate continuous improvement projects.
- Experience with LIMS and ELN computer applications is preferred.
- Attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills.
- Technical writing skills and ability to effectively communicate with peers and department management.
- Detail oriented with the ability to work in a high-paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work from multiple assignments.
- Experience working in a GMP environment is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or life sciences with minimum of 0-2 years of experience in a regulated industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
