What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterile Processing Tech position at Axelon Services Corporation?
8hr Day shift, 7a-330p - One weekend per month in a 4 week block schedule; every other holiday. Must be available M-F, no blocked scheduling.
Required Exp : 4 years acute care - must be proficient in, Decontamination, Sterilization, Assembly (prep & pack), Case Cart Picking and Endoscope Reprocessing.
Prefer : Level 1 Trauma facility experience and those with a strong background in orthopedics and micro-instruments. Will float to several areas within the hospital.
Required Certs : CRCST by IAHCSMM OR CSPDT by the ASHCSP.
Certification must be current and maintained with CEUs as required. Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. Education must be submitted as part of the submission packet. Must speak fluent English.
