Title : UAT Tester
Location : Chicago, IL
This is a hybrid role (3-days onsite / 2-days WFH)
Monday - Friday; 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
UAT Tester Job Description
Develop scenarios and automated test scripts to validate application integration points
Execute manual and automated tests
Monitor test progress and report status
Log defects, validate associated fixes, and conduct retest
Work closely with project teams to resolve issues identified during testing
Ensure high quality deliverables.
All other duties as assigned or directed
UAT Tester Required Skills
3 years of testing / UAT experience
Experience writing and executing test scripts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High proficiency with SharePoint, Excel, Word and Power Point
Technically adept and able to learn new / complex order entry system
Must be a motivated, self-starter who can independently handle tasks with little oversight
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated organization skills with the ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment
High degree of attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure
Able to handle highly sensitive and confidential data with utmost discretion
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization.
Experience with defect reporting and tracking
Financial Services industry experience
Experience with a workflow application
Software testing experience is a plus.
Top Skills / Experience / Requirements :
1. Must be able to work weekends when release requires it. Will likely be once a month or less. This will typically be ~4 hours but will be determined by the success of the validation. If hours are worked on the weekend there is flexibility to reduce hours the following week. Daily work hours will need to accommodate both onshore and offshore teams with a preference for availability until ~12pmEST.
