Position Description
The position is for a Workday Payroll Specialist. The incumbent will be required to process payroll via the Workday Payroll system as well as perform the necessary duties required of the position including but not limited to : Processing pay calculations within Workday Processing retro pay calculations within Workday Understanding how to perform payroll input within Workday Understanding how to enter One Time Pay Input within Workday Understanding how to issue On Demand payments Understanding how to interpret Workday Pay calculations Running necessary pre payroll calculation audit reports
The Skills required for this position are : Knowledge of Workday Payroll Knowledge of US payroll law and time off where legislatively required Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Familiarity with ADP Smart Compliance portal Excellent communication Ability to work independently while maintaining responsibility and accountability Analytical, organizational and problem- solving
Preferred :
Knowledge and understanding of US and Canada Payroll & Benefits Kronos Dimensions Time System
Experience Required
The incumbent would have a minimum of 5 years of experience of payroll processing in a high volume, multi state payroll organization
Bachelors degree or equivalent level of Payroll related experience.
