Mechanical Assembler
Spring Valley, CA
6 Months
M-F 5 : 30am - 2pm
Pay rate : $20 to $25 / HR
Likely to convert to FT based on performance
We are getting a lot of electro mechanical assemblers that work on small systems doing things like wire harnesses or medical devices. Please focus more on the skills below :
Water Treatment Equipment Fabrication / Assembly
Breweries and Oil and Gas Equipment Fabrication / Assembly
Experience fabricating / assembling plastic and metal pipe (Plastic-CPVC, PVC, HDPE and PP and Metal-Carbon steel and stainless steel)
Metal tube bending
Welding experience
Construction trade experience with exception of laborers
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Read prints and drawings, and other written instructions or procedures to assemble equipment and products
- Utilize hand tools such as wrenches, grinder, cordless drill and impact drill
- Layout, fit up pipe, build pipe supports, work with uni-strut
- Operate forklift, gantry crane, bandsaw, chop saw
- Work with PVC, HDPE, stainless steel piping
- Troubleshoot, rework and / or repair assembled equipment, according to engineering specification changes

Qualification Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED
Physical Demands & Abilities :
Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
Regularly perform repetitive tasks
Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Salary : $20 - $25
