What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Liaison position at Axelon?
Schedules and assigns appointments for a diagnostic testing area. Communicates with healthcare professionals providing care for both inpatients and outpatients. Communicates and works closely with healthcare professions in the diagnostic testing area. Performs additional support tasks some of which include answering the phones, greeting and checking in inpatients on arrival to the testing area, communicating with the outpatient registration staff regarding delays and other issues. Internal facing working with different hospital departments, ordering physicians, and internal staff.
Required - High School Diploma or GED equivalent; 2 years previous healthcare experience in a customer service role, EPIC.
Preferred - Vascular imaging department so preferred experience in that department.
