Complete Description :
Program Coordinator works with The Accident Recovery Program (ARP), which is responsible for coordinating cost recovery for damages to Mass DOT property including vehicles. Works with Mass DOT's Office of the General Counsel, personnel at the Highway Districts, contractors and insurance companies throughout the process. Reports to ARP Supervisor, duties include :
- Maintain shared spreadsheet of all permit compliance packages submitted by ARP contractors.
- Review & electronically approve contractor release forms for payment by insurance companies.
- Maintain shared spreadsheet of reimbursables submitted by the Highway Districts.
- Assign claims numbers & email initial notice(s) to insurance companies with documentation.
- Records funds recovered & forwards checks to Fiscal Department.
- Returns calls & emails to insurance companies regarding reimbursements.
- Provides administrative support to other ARP work assignments as required.
