Axess Health Solutions is a private in-home care provider offering Medicaid approved skilled and unskilled nursing care through the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP). Personal Care Assistants provide quality nursing services by working with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patients care and by providing a positive, supportive environment. Our pediatric client has physical limitations but is highly intelligent. Clients may have cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, etc.
The RN is the front-line representative of the RN supported patient care team often serving as the intermediary between the patient and family, and the AHS's care team members ensuring the LPN/RN is performing duties that align with the skills earned with their license. This role is expected to: assist client with full attention and light physical support of activities of daily living, medication reminders, assist child with all activities related weekend tasks, uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards. In addition, emotional support and truly being engaged and getting to know and making a lasting impact on the client.
- Position Requirements :
- Valid RN/LPN License
- Clear/Negative TB Test
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
- Full COVID-19 Vaccination
- Pass National Background Check/Drug Screen
- Must be able to lift 55 lbs
- Must have reliable transportation
Schedule: 4 hours/week
Thursday - 6P - 9P
- or -
Saturday - 5P - 9P
The Right candidate will have some flexibility in scheduling given the nature of the job and frequent changes in the client's life.
