Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide support to existing operations on a daily basis. Include suggestions toward optimization of product yields to meet the business model.
- Package ownership and review responsible for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, pumps, and compressors.
- Monitor and review contractor’s mechanical activities and deliverables during engineering, fabrication, integration, and testing to ensure compliance with all regulatory and contract requirements.
- Review comments from certifying authority on design of the mechanical systems / equipment and assist in resolving issues.
- Interface with OEMs / third party suppliers on repairs, failure analysis, inspections, and testing for mechanical equipment, and participate in such tests for critical equipment. Verify satisfactory results for inspections and testing.
- Request equipment, materials, and consumables as required within limits of authority.
- Propose and implement cost effective solutions in design, procurement, installation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Participate in PSM processes including Management of Change and Incident Investigations.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise revamp and maintenance activities.
- Support CMMS activities and system upkeep.
- Review equipment failures and lead development of maintenance / operation plans for increased reliability
- Analyze available equipment operating data for indicators of mechanical equipment health
