Yosemite Valley Charter School is a tuition-free, public charter school serving transitional kindergarten through 12th grade students in Fresno, San Benito, Merced, Madera, Mono, Monterey, Tulare, Kern, and Kings Counties. Paraprofessionals provide critical support to our teachers, administrators, and families by performing a wide variety of tasks and assignments designed to enhance student learning.
Our Paraprofessionals are dedicated to fostering positive, flexible, and collaborative learning environments, prioritizing meaningful relationships to empower students and support educators.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or the equivalent, and Two years of college (48 units), or A.A. degree (or higher), or Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction.
The majority of tasks assigned to Paraprofessionals are conducted virtually. However, some travel and in-person assignments will be required. Candidates must reside in one of the counties we serve: Fresno, San Benito, Merced, Madera, Mono, Monterey, Tulare, Kern, Kings, and Inyo Counties.
