As our impressive growth continues across the MidAtlantic, we are currently recruiting a Patient Service Representative to help us continue the tradition of providing quality OB/GYN care to patients at our location in Voorhees, NJ
Candidate will be responsible for working one evening shift per week (1130a to 8p); other days 745a-430p; no weekends
Essential Functions:
- Greeting patients and visitors, assisting, and directing them accordingly to the appropriate waiting area.
- Paging or phoning appropriate personnel to meet and escort patients to the exam room.
- Explaining financial requirements to patients, collecting, and recording copayments as required.
- Performing registration functions for new and existing patients and activating patient files.
- Promptly and professionally answering and routing calls to appropriate personnel, paging, offering voicemail, or redirecting calls as needed.
- Retrieving and appropriately routing any messages from the answering service.
- Providing additional support to patients and medical staff and performing other duties as assigned.
- Courteously screening solicitors for relevance to organizational needs.
- Adhering to infection control and safety guidelines as well as maintaining confidentiality regarding all patients and following confidentiality policies per HIPAA compliance.

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Medical Receptionist/PSR experience preferred.
