Axia Women's Health is the largest Women's Health Care Group in the United States, comprised of over 400 providers, 150 patient care centers, 4 breast health centers, 2 perinatal testing centers, and 2 central laboratories offering a full spectrum of exceptional care in Obstetrics, Gynecology, Fertility, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Laboratory Services. Our corporate headquarters is in Voorhees, New Jersey. We are currently recruiting an Ultrasound Technologist for our OB / GYN practice in our Hillsborough and East Brunswick, NJ.
First trimester screening certification is a plus .
Schedule :
Mon- 8-4pm (Hillsborough office)
Tues- 11-7pm (Hillsborough office)
Wed- OFF
Thurs- 12-8pm (East Brunswick)
Friday- 7-3pm (Hillsborough)
Job Description :
Provides ultrasound diagnostic services as directed by physicians including scheduling, patient care during procedure and communication with patients.
Performs routine and diagnostic ultrasound images.
Interacts with physicians and other technical staff to provide quality, safe and efficient care for the patient.
Follows guidelines for probe handling and infection control.
Follows examination protocols under the guidance of the physicians on duty.
Oversees patient scheduling.
Explains procedures to assure cooperation and optimum test results.
Positions patients, selects appropriate transducers and machine settings.
Conducts scanning procedures.
Ensures maintenance on ultrasound equipment.
Orders and stocks all ultrasound supplies.
Maintains all ultrasound records, reports and files.
Qualifications :
Demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness in handling all patient interactions.
Performs all other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time.
OB experience required. Willing to train new grads with OB clinical rotation. Must have your ARDM Certification.
