What you will do...
Primary Role
The Network Engineer will create, manage, and sustain mission systems networks and network support environments.
Key Functions
- Network communication solutions architecture development
- Configuring, Deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining Network and infrastructure solutions
- Developing Network System Automation strategies
- Interact with technical team members from multiple organizations in a team environment.
Skills you will need...
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other Engineering / Science discipline or equivalent experience
- 5 years’ Experience in Network Solutions Design and integration
Desired Education/Experience
- 6 years of Network configuration
- 3 years in Automation practices
- 2 Years in Cloud Integration
- Security Plus Certification
Required Skills
- Strong Network programming skills in Juniper and Cisco switches, firewalls, and routers.
- Experience with Automation Tools and strategies including Ansible
- Demonstrated ability to understand enterprise level networks.
- Comfortable configuring networks to include IP schemes and basic troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated ability to complete tasks, drive projects to closure, assimilate and correlate project information in a fast-paced environment and incorporate them into deployment strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to shift from one project to another in an agile work environment.
- Ability to communicate technical approaches and details within small project teams, including team interaction and presentations.
- Ability to capture technical approaches, designs, block diagrams, and implementations in written and graphical form.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with structured cable
- Strong motivation to expand knowledge and skills.

Travel
- This position will require overnight travel up to 10 percent of the time. Trip durations may range from overnight to several weeks.
Clearance
- Only candidates who currently possess an active Top Secret / SCI clearance will be considered. Must have ability to get Special Access. Applicants for positions which require DoD security clearance must meet eligibility requirements to include US citizenship.
