**Job Title:** Part-Time Explosive Safety Inspector
Location: Cape Canaveral Space Force Base, FL
Axient LLC is seeking a part-time Explosive Safety Inspector to support the Pad Safety inspection program, which meets the requirements of various explosives safety standards.
The successful candidate will perform explosive spot inspections and annual explosive safety inspections, focusing on special interest areas identified through trending deficiencies. They will also conduct inspections in conjunction with hazardous operations, follow up on corrective actions, and provide detailed reports.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in explosives (military or government), a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. A bachelor's degree, active or current DoD security clearance, and EOD experience are desired but not required.
The selected individual will be responsible for ensuring a sound safety posture for Range operating facilities by performing routine, special, and spot level inspections and tests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform explosive spot inspections and annual explosive safety inspections

Required Skills:
- At least 10 years of experience in explosives (military or government)
- High School Diploma
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
- Understanding of Net Explosive Weights (NEW)
- Experience with explosive arcs
- Understanding of DoD Std 6055.9 (Explosives Safety Standards)
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Active or Current DoD security clearance at the required level
- EOD experience
- Understanding of lightning Protection Systems and requirements
