Position Title: Program Integrator – Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS)
Location: Huntsville, Alabama
We are seeking a highly innovative and motivated Program Integrator to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama, supporting a critical Department of Defense (DoD) program focused on C-UAS. As a Program Integrator, you will play a key role in multi-functional coordination among functional area considerations, including: engineering, logistics, business, contracts to support effective program management and ensure successful delivery of weapon system capabilities within a larger system-of-systems architecture. This dynamic position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills, critical analysis abilities, and a proven track record of credibility and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Coordination:
- Lead and coordinate program activities, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives and goals. Provide comprehensive program coordination in support of the Program/Product Manager’s (PM) priorities and the overall Program Executive Office (PEO) mission.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, business, and operations, to integrate system components seamlessly.
- Assist in navigating acquisition regulations and statutes to deliver weapon system capabilities.
- Support the PM in understanding, tailoring, and meeting the intent of DoD acquisition processes, policies, and regulations.
- System-of-Systems Integration:
- Assist in the integration of diverse missile defense and integrated fires systems into a cohesive and effective system-of-systems architecture.
- Work closely with technical experts to ensure interoperability and synergy among different weapon systems and components.
- Critical Analysis and Problem Solving:
- Anticipate the PM’s needs and demonstrate strong critical analysis skills to generate, propose, and implement solutions to both routine problems and complex, high-impact situations.
- Develop strategies to address potential challenges and ensure program success.
- Define and manage program requirements, ensuring they align with mission objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Coordinate with technical teams to refine, allocate and update requirements based on Warfighter priorities, evolving threats and technological advancements.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess program risks related to integration, cost, schedule, and performance.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, including government representatives, contractors, and internal team members. Key stakeholders include Army Futures Command (AFC) Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs), Army Capabilities Manager (ACM), ASA(ALT), Army Staff, RCCTO, ATEC, DOT&E, other Project/Product Offices within and external to PEO Missiles & Space, Army Materiel Command, and Army Contracting Command.
- Provide regular updates on program progress, milestones, and challenges, including Program Management Resource Toolset (PMRT), Monthly Acquisition Reporting (MAR).
- Financial Oversight:
- Work closely with the finance team to monitor and control program budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and reporting requirements.
- Ensure effective contract vehicle access to support mission requirements.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of reliable and effective missile defense capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one. In some cases, Top Secret/SCI may be required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, project management, business, etc.); advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in program management, specifically in the defense industry with a focus on missile defense systems.
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, policies, and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- DAWIA Program Management and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience with DoD/Army, defense industry and related stakeholders.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in missile defense.
