Axient is seeking a Protocal Specialist to support the 96th Wing at Eglin AFB, FL. The 96th TW Protocol staff is responsible for the Air Force decorum, customs and courtesies ceremonies, conferences, social functions, hosting distinguished visitors and honors afforded at military funerals.
What you will do...
- Assist the Protocol Officer in coordinating and managing official visits, events, and ceremonies.
- Conduct research and provide analysis on protocol matters.
- Prepare briefing materials, talking points, and other documents for senior officials.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of protocol-related information.
- Coordinate with other departments and agencies to ensure seamless execution of protocol activities.
- Participate in protocol-related meetings and provide specific input to said matters.
- Provide support to the Protocol Officer in research of budget and resources.
Skills you will need...
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. * Experience may be substituted for education with customer concurrence.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience or training with international relations, public administration, or related field.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, while demonstrating professionalism and diplomacy in all interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
- Understanding of protocol guidelines and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with high standards of quality.
Security Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Other Essential Job Functions:
- Candidate must be willing to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
