Responsibilities
- Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently during customer transactions.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting with inquiries.
- Process sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Maintain knowledge of store products to assist customers effectively.
- Conduct product demonstrations to promote sales and engage customers.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Supervise junior staff as required, providing guidance on best practices in customer service and sales.
Skills
- Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred.
