What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Director of Quality and Compliance position at Axiom Care?
Responsible for overseeing all quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and risk management processes and initiatives within Axiom Care. Includes ongoing data collection and reporting, preparation for and management of on-site facility surveys, ensuring continuing compliance with all governing authorities and accrediting bodies, Axiom Care policy and procedure development and management, incident reporting management, and regulatory submissions.
Position is based in Phoenix, AZ but will require some travel (~30% of time) to Axiom Care facilities across Maricopa and Pinal County, AZ. Hybrid position with some work-from-home will be considered.
Requirements:Required Skills/Abilities:
Familiarity with AZDHS, Joint Commission, CMS, and AHCCCS rules preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload independently.
- Ability to type at least 50 wpm. Ability to communicate effectively via email. Well-versed in and Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Expert in computer and internet navigation.
- Ability to read and interpret complex data, and to create meaningful data visualizations in Excel or similar programs in order to clearly report on data and trends.
- Ability to create professional data-drive reports and presentations for distribution both internally and externally.
- Ability to quickly read and interpret regulatory agency and accrediting body rules.
- Ability to write company policy and procedure in clear and concise language that meets requirements of all regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies.
- Ability to travel to Axiom Care facilities across the Phoenix Metro area.
- Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external, through both written and oral communication.

Educations and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or a related field is required.
- Minimum 12 months of behavioral health experience preferred.
- Minimum 6 months of Quality Improvement or Compliance experience in a behavioral health field preferred.
