Media relations
Preparing and maintaining press contacts; preparing drafts of press releases for editing and distribution to clients for approval; distributing approved releases to media; following up and keeping logs of follow-up calls and status of prospective placement. Gathering all clips electronically and in hard copy; coordinate Vocus gathering tool; posting to Axiom Media. Prepare update reports for all clients.
Coordinate public affairs and marketing events
Including performing media relations duties above, develop and manage client events; general research and analysis reports; maintaining contact with client coordinator for various integrated campaigns; maintaining awareness of and / or preparing reports of circumstances that effect campaign; coordinating development and distribution of campaign materials; organizing and overseeing outreach programming.
Coordinate trade media relations based on calendars
Coordinate preparation of all materials intended for inclusion; deliver materials to client for approval; coordinate with media contact for insertion. Gathering all clips electronically and in hard copy weekly. Prepare weekly status report of progress on each item.
Relationship Management
Becoming fluent in client marketing objectives and maintaining intelligence base that informs client relationships and service platforms. Primary point of contact for client services related to conventional and online creative. Primary accountability for business arrangement and service fulfillment for creative services.
Marketing and Creative Management
Identifying and managing internal and external resources to fulfill service obligations to clients across disciplines (graphics, html, film, powerpoint, etc). Delegating client service and contact to Axiom personnel as appropriate.
