About the Role:
Axiom Connected is seeking a Data and Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with senior data engineers to design, analyze, and maintain data infrastructure and reporting systems. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated professional with strong SQL skills and a passion for data quality and visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the senior data engineer with managing and supporting Axiom Connected's data infrastructure.
- Gain and maintain expertise in core technologies, including Microsoft SQL, Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory), and Power BI.
- Build, test, and maintain a library of Power BI reports and data visualizations.
- Design, support, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data movement.
- Perform various types of data analysis to support business operations.
- Ensure data quality across systems and processes.
- Provide reporting and data support for Axiom Connected products and the iungo transactional system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support data-related needs for Axiom Administration.
- Assist in designing and implementing modern data warehousing techniques.
- Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: 2-5 years of work experience in database management and reporting (or equivalent education).
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL and Azure technologies (Azure Data Factory preferred).
- Strong skills in SQL query and table design.
- Experience building and testing reports, particularly using Power BI.
- Data analysis skills, including report building and data cleanup.
- Self-motivated with excellent task management and organizational skills.
- Experience with ETL tools is a plus but not required.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for the data field.
