Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Instructional Coach to join our team. The successful candidate(s) will work within local Henrico County school(s) and will play a pivotal role in enhancing the educational experience by providing support and guidance to educators in the development and implementation of effective instructional strategies. This position requires a strong background in instructional design, classroom management strategies, and the ability to forge positive working relationships.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers to identify areas for improvement in instructional practices and provide tailored support.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Develop and deliver professional development workshops that focus on instructional strategies, and content development.
- Assist educators in designing engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Create instructional materials and resources that align with curriculum standards and best practices.
- Facilitate adult education sessions aimed at enhancing teacher skills and knowledge.
- Monitor progress and assess the impact of coaching initiatives on student learning outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in classroom instruction with a strong understanding of effective teaching methodologies.
- Current Teaching License is preferred.
- Experience in content development for diverse learning environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
- A passion for continuous improvement in education and a commitment to supporting educators' professional growth.
