Job Title: SoC Design Verification Engineer Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite) Duration: 10 Months
We are looking for an experienced SoC Design Verification Engineer to join our team in Redmond, WA for a 10 month onsite role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ASIC verification, a proven track record of first-pass success in ASIC development cycles, and hands-on expertise in SystemVerilog/UVM methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement SoC verification plans and develop verification test benches for sub-system and SoC-level verification.
- Develop functional tests based on the verification test plan.
- Drive design verification to closure using defined metrics such as test plan coverage, functional coverage, and code coverage.
- Debug, root-cause, and resolve functional failures, collaborating with the design team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, modeling, emulation, and silicon validation teams.
- Continuously improve design verification processes by leveraging industry-best verification methodologies, tools, and technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in SystemVerilog/UVM methodology.
- Proven expertise in functional verification, including SV Assertions, Formal, and Emulation.
- Proficiency in EDA tools and scripting (Python, TCL, Perl, Shell) for building verification tools and flows.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience verifying GPU/CPU designs.
- Hands-on experience in developing UVM-based verification environments from scratch.
- Expertise in data center applications such as Video, AI/ML, and Networking.
- Familiarity with revision control systems like Mercurial (Hg), Git, or SVN.
- Experience in IP or integration verification of high-speed interfaces like PCIe, DDR, and Ethernet.
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, modeling, and emulation.
