Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer (PE) with expertise in the Oil & Gas industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical system design, power distribution, and compliance with industry regulations , supporting projects related to upstream, midstream, and downstream operations .
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for oil and gas facilities, including power distribution, motor control, and automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards (NEC, API, IEEE, NFPA, IEC) for hazardous locations and safety requirements.
- Perform load flow analysis, short circuit studies, arc flash analysis, and grounding system design .
- Oversee equipment selection, procurement, and installation of electrical components, including transformers, switchgear, and MCCs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, process, and civil engineers) to integrate electrical designs into larger oil & gas projects.
- Lead troubleshooting and failure analysis of electrical systems and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical reports .
- Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Support field operations, commissioning, and startup activities as needed.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication effectively.
