Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Migration Engineer to lead the migration of applications from Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) to OpenShift . The ideal candidate will assess existing architectures, plan and execute seamless migrations, and optimize application performance in OpenShift while ensuring minimal disruption.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and understand the architecture, dependencies, and deployment configurations of applications running on PCF .
- Plan and execute migration strategies to transition applications from PCF to OpenShift , ensuring operational continuity.
- Implement configuration changes and deploy applications on OpenShift, following best practices for container orchestration and management .
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment failures, container errors, and platform-specific challenges during and after migration.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency in OpenShift.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices , including role-based access control (RBAC), secrets management, and corporate security policies .
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and operations teams to facilitate a smooth migration, provide documentation, and offer post-migration support.
