What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mainframe IMS DB with CICS position at Axiom Global?
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages.
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI / CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Hands on experience in IBM-Z / OS COBOL, CICS,IMS DB / DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, CA7, Changeman / Endeavor Mainframe application development suits and IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solution.
- Experience in creating API using zO / S connect & Kafka integration is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge and work experience on AWS is a plus.

Technical stack will remain same for mainframe, but position is now shift from Development to Support so below are expectation -

Perform Maintenance and support activities

Flexible to work in Shift ( 2 PM to 11 PM). This is mostly for week in month
ble to co-ordinate with offshore team
Good knowledge of Support process.
