Indirect Tax Manager
LOCATION: Davison, NC (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
COMPENSATION: $120,000-$145,000 base salary 10% bonus and full benefits

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Lead and manage the US Indirect Tax compliance team and outsourcing partners to ensure accurate and timely compliance with sales & use, gross receipts, B&O, and property tax returns.
- Partner with business units and corporate functions to provide practical support for indirect tax queries, planning, and technical guidance on major initiatives such as market expansion and acquisitions.
- Oversee the onboarding of indirect tax activities for Oracle R12/Vertex implementations across all US legal entities.
- Validate and test tax treatments for transaction flows, implementing corrections and pursuing efficiencies or opportunities where applicable.
- Manage indirect tax audits across US jurisdictions, including direct engagement with auditors to minimize tax assessments and foster beneficial relationships.
- Monitor legislative and case law changes in indirect tax, assess their impact on the organization, and implement necessary updates effectively.
- Guide contracting and tax exemption teams to ensure accurate customer taxation and resolve disputes efficiently.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required; master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in US indirect tax compliance and planning.
- Hands-on experience with advanced indirect tax technologies like Oracle R12/Vertex.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing assignments, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
