We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NetSuite Financial Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in improving the NetSuite implementation for a leading client in the Raleigh-Durham area. You will work closely with the client's finance team to address system usage issues, optimize business processes, and enhance the overall functionality of their NetSuite Financials module.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct thorough system analysis :
Analyze current NetSuite usage, and identify pain points and areas for improvement.
Assess existing business processes within the Finance department, including but not limited to :
Purchase Order (PO) processing
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
General Ledger (GL)
Develop and implement process improvement recommendations :
Collaborate with finance leaders to design and implement process improvements within NetSuite to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Assist in the development of best practices for system usage and data management.
Address specific challenges such as AR reconciliation issues and limitations in system modifications.
Provide technical expertise :
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to the NetSuite Financials module.
Assist with system customizations and integrations as needed.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the NetSuite system.
Provide training and support :
Train finance team members on best practices for using NetSuite.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to the finance team as needed.
Documentation and reporting :
Document all project activities, findings, and recommendations.
Prepare reports on project progress and system performance.
Qualifications :
6-8 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting NetSuite Financials.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Expertise in NetSuite configuration, customization, and integration.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience working with clients in a consulting or advisory role (preferred).
