HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT :
Serve as a technical designer on municipal drinking water and wastewater projects in the Southeast.
Execute tasks related to the planning, design, and construction administration of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Prepare key deliverables such as engineering calculations, equipment sizing, cost estimates, schedules, and technical reports.
Ensure that designs comply with industry standards and conduct quality assurance / quality control (QA / QC) reviews of project documents.
Communicate effectively with team members and project stakeholders to ensure project success.
Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and assisting in marketing initiatives.
ARE YOU A WATER / WASTEWATER ENGINEER ROCK STAR?
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of experience in municipal or industrial water / wastewater systems design and development.
Strong technical background in utility design, with the ability to perform necessary engineering calculations and assessments.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD software.
A willingness to relocate to or currently residing in one of the target cities (Charleston, Charlotte, Columbia, or Greenville).
Preferred Qualifications :
Masters degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in North or South Carolina, or nearing licensure.
Experience with alternative project delivery methods.
Established relationships within the utility and water / wastewater industry.
