About the Role:
Axiom Connected is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our innovative team. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, translating high-level requirements into actionable tasks and user stories for the development team. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of business processes and data models that power Axiom’s products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate high-level business requirements into technical specifications, creating user stories and tasks for the development team.
- Collaborate with business analysts and development teams to identify challenges and architect technical solutions.
- Design and document relational data models to support system architecture.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to the business analysis team.
- Develop and maintain business process models, data flows, prototypes, business requirements, use cases, and test cases.
- Document and support RESTful APIs and object-oriented code for development projects.
Requirements:
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Thorough understanding of structured data and relational data models.
- Proficiency in SQL (read/write).
- Ability to understand and document object-oriented code.
- Experience documenting RESTful APIs.
- Some experience with PHP is a plus.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of professional experience in software development or analysis.
