We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to support a DoD Healthcare Management program.
Successful Candidate will:
- Have a deep understanding of SharePoint development, architecture, administration, maintenance, and migrations.
- Be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex SharePoint solutions, as well as migrating content and applications between legacy SharePoint environments and SharePoint Online.
- This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior developers and site collection administrators, creating training materials and guides, and ensuring seamless SharePoint/Microsoft technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement advanced SharePoint solutions, including web parts, workflows, and integrations with third-party systems.
- Lead SharePoint migrations to ensure smooth content/application transfers and encourage user adoption in the new environment.
- Customize and improve SharePoint Online and On-Premises environments using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Automate, and PowerApps, PowerBI, SharePoint Designer, etc.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Develop and translate custom SharePoint components using JavaScript, TypeScript, React and other web technologies.
- Create and maintain documentation for SharePoint architecture, workflows, managed metadata structures, and associated customizations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, site collection administrators, system users, and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with SharePoint technologies, including cloud-based solutions (SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365), and associated best practices.
- Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft services such as Teams, OneDrive, etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Expert knowledge of SharePoint Online and/or legacy SharePoint systems (2016, 2019)
- Extensive experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell, Power Automate, PowerApps, PowerBI, etc.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g.: Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab)
Migration Tools:
- Demonstrated experience with SharePoint migrations and migration tools such as ShareGate.
Administration Skills:
- Expertise in managing SharePoint Site Collections
- Proficient in SharePoint security management (permissions, user profiles, etc.).
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and drive project success.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft PL-900; Power Platform Fundamentals
- Microsoft PL-400; Power Platform Developer Associate
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
