Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail - oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with an emphasis on sanitation in a child care environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of a childcare facility.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming.
- Clean restroom floors, walls, sinks, urinals and commodes, stock bathrooms; clean windows and mirrors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas, ensuring a safe environment for children.
- Remove trash and place in proper containers for disposal.
- Ensuring the overall safety and hygiene of the facility, while sticking to strict child safety protocols and regulations.
