Machine Maintenance Technician
1st and 2nd shift
Must be available to work OT, weekends, and holidays.
This position works 6 days a week and has lots of OT.
Located in Duluth, a food manufacturing company, has an immediate opening for a Machine Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will perform a range of tasks required for proper service and maintenance to company and customer owned equipment ensuring reliable operation of such equipment, in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial machinery or equipment.
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
- Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
- Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using testing devices.
- Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
- Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have knowledge of machines and tools, including machine and/or tool design, uses and maintenance requirements/history.
- Must be able to work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
