- Position Overview: The AI Research Scientist will work on developing novel AI models for verifiable and interpretable reasoning for science and engineering. You will contribute to the development of novel AI-driven methods for understanding, modeling, and replicating complex behaviors from data. This role will involve a blend of research, experimentation and hands-on implementation and testing, with an emphasis on pushing the boundaries of current AI capabilities.
- Key Responsibilities
- AI Model Development: Contribute to the development of novel AI reasoning models and architectures, focusing on advanced reasoning techniques and application to scientific fields where rigour and reliability are fundamental
- Collaboration: Work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers and scientists, collaborating on solving challenging problems at the intersection of AI, physics, logic, and robotics. Collaborate with universities on developing selected aspects of the product
- Documentation and Reporting: Develop detailed technical documentation and present research findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Research & Publication: Conduct cutting-edge research and publish results in top AI conferences and journals to contribute to the global AI research community, according to opportunities.
- Experience:
- Ph.D. in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Physics or related field
- Strong background in AI research, with a focus on reasoning, representation learning, reinforcement learning, scientific and engineering applications.
- Knowledge of AI algorithm and architectures and familiarity with industry-standard AI tools and libraries
- Experience working on projects involving chip design, or more generally scientific applications and optimization
- A track record of publications in top-tier AI or machine learning conferences or journals.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python
- Understanding of fundamental computer science principles
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX.
- Solid understanding of machine learning principles and architectures
- Hands-on experience with large language models, diffusion models, or other state of the art architectures.
