We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems. ROLE OBJECTIVE
The IT Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, networks, and security systems. The role requires expertise in system and network administration, user support, and IT security, with a focus on optimizing performance, ensuring reliability, and safeguarding against cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing seamless IT support across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
System Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and other IT equipment.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Update and patch operating systems and software applications.
Network Administration:
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Configure network settings and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Implement network security measures to protect against cyber threats.
User Support:
- Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Create and manage user accounts and access permissions.
- Train users on new IT systems and procedures.
Security:
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Monitor security logs and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Project Management:
- Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Plan and execute IT projects on time and within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking.
- Proficiency with of VMware (ESXi and vCenter), M365/Exchange/Entra, Veeam/Acronis Cyber Protect, Palo Alto.
- Hand-on experience with server administration, network administration, and user support.
- Strong in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , Security ) are preferred.
