We are working with an established packaging manufacturing company based in Hillsborough Township, New Jersey. They are recruiting for a Electro-Mechanical Technician to join their team on 1st or 3rd shift on days (Mon-Fri) in return for an hourly rate of $34-$38/hour along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, 3 weeks PTO and Life Insurance.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the liquids division by performing electrical maintenance on the machinery such as printers, packaging machines, conveyors, cappers and bottling lines.
- Perform initial diagnostic, identify solution, and perform necessary repair with industry tools.
- Perform complete break down of machinery and troubleshoot the electrical components and perform the necessary replacement or repair.
- Perform programming of PLC’s and perform troubleshooting if needed.
- Be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on packaging machines and perform changeover in a timely manner to ensure efficient production time.
- Can hold responsibility to lead department team during shift.
Qualifications & Experience required:
- Maintain at least 3 years of electrical based experience, working in a manufacturing setting.
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment; packaging equipment experience preferred but not necessary.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, but not required.
- Must be electronically inclined, position is mostly electrical based.
- Have knowledge and previous experience of TPM, 5S, FMEA tool use.
- Must have previous experience working with PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controllers)
This position is commutable from; Millstone, Blackwell's Mills, Manville, Rocky Hill, Montgomery, Neshanic, and Trenton.
